Focused on the Highly Prospective Cobar Region
Helix has a growing list of exciting copper and gold targets in the Cobar region, a well-established copper, gold and base metal province with several mining operations and highly developed infrastructure.
Proximity to mining and processing infrastructure creates development opportunities and reduces risks. The Cobar region contains six mineral processing facilities, the world class CSA copper mine, notable gold and polymetallic operations and new discoveries.
The Company has amassed +3,200km2 of tenure focussed along key prospective copper and gold trends. The Western Group Tenements (WGT) covers three regional-scale copper bearing trends and includes the Canbelego Copper Mineral Resource. The Eastern Group Tenements (EGT) covers the Collerina Trend, directly along strike of the operating Tritton Copper Mine and recent Constellation discovery (ASX:AIS).
A 5 km by 1.5 km historical gold field is being evaluated on the Muriel Tank tenement.
Helix is the operator of the Helix-Legacy earn-in which is located 10 km west of the Cobar township. The area, which hosts several operating gold, copper and base metal mines, is prospective for Cobar-style copper-gold base metal deposits.
