The White Hills Copper-Gold Project covers 23 km² of contiguous tenements in the northern Arizona Arc, adjacent to Helix’s Gold Basin joint venture. The region is prospective for porphyry copper and detachment-fault gold deposits, with strong geological parallels to world-class systems elsewhere in Arizona.
Historical exploration included geophysics, soil and rock sampling, and ten diamond drillholes which were only assayed for gold. Rock chip results returned grades up to 23 g/t Au and 5.7% Cu, providing compelling evidence of a copper-gold system. Integration of geophysical and geochemical datasets has highlighted a +1 km zone of gold and copper anomalism coincident with interpreted intrusions and radiometric anomalies.
Helix’s review indicates potential for two separate mineralising events: copper porphyry mineralisation related to Cretaceous intrusions, and Tertiary detachment-fault gold. Planned programs include drilling and extended soil sampling to confirm the scale of the system. White Hills offers significant discovery potential in a proven mining jurisdiction, with excellent road access and infrastructure just 50 km from the Mineral Park copper operation.
